  • Amenities:
    • Running water at some sites.
    • Shared outhouse (no water).
    • Plenty of picnic table space.
  • Maintenance Issues:
    • Camp attendants are rarely seen, leading to unstocked toilet paper and unclean outhouses.
  • Rule Enforcement:
    • Issues with noise from loud music and off-road vehicles late into the night.
    • Instances of campers breaking fire bans with bonfires and potential fireworks.
    • Fire rangers respond to fire ban violations.
  • Preparedness:
    • Guests are advised to be prepared for potential fire hazards and to follow fire safety rules.
    • Portable propane fire pits are recommended during fire bans.

Lake Hill Campground is ideal for campers who appreciate a beautiful natural setting and enjoy fishing. However, visitors should be prepared for challenging terrain and potential issues with rule enforcement. It is recommended to bring necessary supplies, including toilet paper, and to be mindful of fire safety regulations. The presence of running water and picnic tables at some sites adds to the convenience, but the lack of consistent maintenance can be a drawback.

Nice little pond full of stocked fish. The campgrounds are hilly and rocky so it’s difficult to find a spot to set up a tent. We never saw the camp attendants, I’m not complaining, but they never stocked the toilet paper or cleaned the outhouses so it was a wreck. The people next to us were listening to music real loud and riding loud four wheels way into the night. We had a good time fishing though and the area is gorgeous. Big pines and cedars. Lots of wildlife.

Such a beautiful place to camp! We were at group site #1 at the very tippy top. Which meant there was only one way out to get down the mountain. So you can imagine our slight alarm when we smelled fire smoke during a complete statewide fire ban. It meant that our neighboring campers were breaking the rules or that we had a wildfire in the vicinity that we could not see to know which direction it would be coming from. We started evacuating just in case, while a few of us checked out the neighbors. Sure enough they had a huge bonfire going and were joking about doing fireworks that would turn their fire blue. The fire rangers came and put their fire out. About 30 minutes later, we smelled campfire again. Another group was breaking the rules too. We had prepared in advance by reading the rules and purchasing a portable propane fire pit (which was the only fire allowed). Other than that scare, our time here was so nice. It helped to have running water! There was a shared outhouse (no water there), and plenty of picnic table space. The wind kicked up one day but overall it was very nice. Big trees for hammocks or hanging chairs. Lots of squirrels, birds, and butterflies!

Most nights there was loud partying college students blasting music and reving through the roads. Probably due to its close proximity to Snow college. But beautiful campground! Lovely lil lake. Was affordable too:)

Great camping! Tall Pine and Aspen trees. We stayed at group site 2# only $35 to reserve and only $15 if you show up and it is available. Great fishing pond, walking, hiking, available razor riding trails and more. Our site was very close to the pond, so lots for the kids to do. Oh, and plenty of shade. Only downside was single stall outhouse, however it was clean! Potable drinking water too.

A beautiful campground near the top of Ephraim Canyon. There are about 10 sites, each with grill stands and picnic tables. There is water available, and an impressively clean pit toilet. The campground is adjacent to the a small, idyllic lake (reservoir) which is good for fishing, swimming, boating. In summer the campground was full of lush grass and flowers. There are many stunning hiking trails nearby, as well as trails for horses and ohvs. In summer it's hot and dry- 80s-90s- during the day, and cool (50s-70s) ar night. I thought this was a dream spot!
