Some nice aspects to LHR that were overshadowed by a crazy neighbour ( a public official sworn to serve and protect believe it or not...one of the types movies are made of) allowed to flaunt rules and regulations with impunity. Over years, many fellow residents near and far in the resort disgusted with his noise, obnoxious behaviour of all sorts and total disregard for rules, left, moved to distant sites, or endured abuse despite making complaints to owners; me being one of them! (I used resort for 6 weeks only each year...moving after all the work put into the site was something I refused to do.) I personally had to call the OPP due to this same neighbour's careless driving on access road to resort during my daily jog. Crazy that owners did nothing! Furthermore, my unit, was damaged in an April wind storm due to an old tree that, in my opinion, was recklessly left unattended. Not only did owners not return my fees, either in whole or part, but bewilderingly said it was against policy! Well, they made the unethical policy, so they could change it! ...so, i was out nealy $4000. Shameful. After 6 years of being a resident. I was treated with total nonchalance! My recommendation after these years there...MOVE ON and look elsewhere.
We went to visit my family for the day and we had a great time. The place is a very clean, quiet family oriented site. Everyone is so welcoming and very friendly. Definitely a great getaway from the city. My favourite part was the beach the gorgeous sunset.
