Customer Reviews
One of my favorite campsites. Paid area with amenities and free sites a short walk from the lake. Great hiking and fishing. Popular, can be hard to find a spot on weekends. Plenty of other free camping nearby if it's full.
First-come, first-served (as of July 2020). Hard to find a spot after 4th of July week. $18/night, cash only. Fire ring, picnic table, pit toilets. Firewood $7. Short walk to the lake, gets busy with day users. Beautiful spot, but bathrooms need updating. Overflowing dumpsters. The lake makes up for it.
Camped here before it closed in Sept 2024. Kebler Pass fall colors are amazing! Camp host James said it's closing for 2 years for remodel. Road, tables, fire bins, and bathrooms need work. Nostalgic experience. James was a great host! Friendly and helpful. Deserves a raise! Great fall experience in Kebler Pass 2024.
Incredible location far from Crested Butte. Loved it! Large bear nearby (300 yards). Saw a deer killed by the bear or a cat. Camp manager warned everyone about food storage. Bathrooms super clean. Great people.
Awesome campground, beautiful views, nice camp host! Not full in September.
