My family had a great time here! There's tons of space for parking, boats, and entertaining. We brought bikes to get around to the pool, park, fishing dock, etc. Salt Springs Pizza is our go-to for food – lots of options and delicious. We look forward to coming back every few months. We spent one day at Salt Springs across the street. Thank you for a great stay! We'd love to come back soon.
The rental was very clean and smelled great. Amy at the gate was so nice and helpful. Tara was accommodating and quick to respond. The huge porch with the fire table was great at night.
Great community and very attentive to our needs! Tara helped me with our booking from start to finish. There was a glitch, but the Lake Kerr team resolved it quickly and upgraded our stay! Everyone was friendly and made us feel at home. The New Year's Eve party was spectacular! I recommend this place and will definitely come back if I'm in the area.
My husband and I spent six weeks (Feb. 1-Mar. 15, 2024) at Salt Springs Resort on site 289. It's a spacious, shaded corner lot with a nice fire pit, full hookups, a concrete pad, and a patio. Salt Springs is a gated resort with a pool, hot tub, lodge, pickleball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a dog park, and a pavilion with activities. The resort is beautifully landscaped. The lodge and other amenities could use some updating. There's a Dollar General, laundromat, post office, gas station, and small restaurants nearby. The resort is 45-60 minutes from larger cities and beaches. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the resort and site.
We stayed for Halloween weekend on lot 103. It was in poor shape, and the grass wasn't mowed. It could be dangerous if you're not careful. The park is mostly permanent residents (seems like a 55+ community). The Halloween event was dismal. The playground is old and not much fun. Our kids were bored quickly. There's one large, well-maintained dog park in the back with toys and water. We won't be back.
