"Loving this campsite so much we just booked another month! Great view of the lake, quiet and private most of the time, but expect the families to roll in for the weekends. Excellent facilities, bathrooms and showers are clean and refreshing, and the staff here is amazing! So helpful with any issue we've had, always on top of maintenance, just pleasant and friendly folks. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for something different outside of Las Vegas for a while."
"We loved coming here to relax in our tour of America. We got a lake view spot which was wonderful watching the sun rise and set! Paul, the camp host was beyond helpful and friendly. Donna was friendly and helpful in the office. Great little store."

One employee ruined a good review!! The park is nice, we’ve been going for several years. But lately we’ve come into the worst customer service from an onsite office clerk named Donna. I just thought that the few times I’ve stayed there she was just new and learning. It’s my luck that when I call she answers and jacks up my reservations every time in same way or another. (one time, she said she’d call me back because her computer was down, and never did, & when I called back they were sold out. Three hours ago you had plenty of spaces now your sold out?! Another time I needed to move my dates, she couldn’t change it, I had to call back yet again and speak to manager to get it changed. The manager said she could have done it. The first time we stayed next to the dumpsters and it was awful. The next reservation I requested not to be placed there, the gentleman that made the reservation for us said he put it in the notes that he would not move us. But DONNA did! She says spots aren’t guaranteed. But the other agents say yes they are. She claimed there was a large group they wanted to be placed together. So she moved us, (we had reservations booked for over 6 months!) We arrived there with a packed RV & impatient dogs only to be escorted next to the dumpster site. As we were turning our rig around to go find another campground on a three day weekend, I called & asked her for a refund. She refused until she saw us “drive by the office”. I called the corporate office. They agreed it was a shitty thing to say and how she acted was unprofessional. For the record, I wouldn’t want anyone to be placed by the dumpsters, they should simply relocate them. This Donna is useless, uneducated in her job and has terrible customer service. If they don’t fire Donna, an immediate transfer to cleaning the fire pits & toilets would be recommended. I’m sure she could figure that out. My recommendation is bypass the office altogether and call the 844 number on the website, they know how to speak to people, work a computer and call people back.
This RV park is a little different than other RV parks in the way the sites are configured. Aside from the "lakefront" sites (which are not really lakefront but have beautiful unobstructed views of the lake), the sites are very long and the rv's alternate directions so your neighbor actually feels fairly far away. The sites are gravel and my site (804) required a little leveling left to right. There is a small concrete pad with a picnic table, which was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. As we are finding to be the norm, we had someone escort us to our spot in a golf cart and make sure we didn't have any questions. Knocking off one star for the bathrooms/showers. They are in need of a remodel for sure. Private RV parks normally have some of the nicer bathrooms and showers but this place was not great. Also the laundry facilities were serviceable but very tired feeling.
Beautiful view, but no shade at all from 105 degrees. Not a tree in the park and no amenities. No cable, wifi didn't work, laundry is a joke requiring an app that takes your money but doesn't work, and the bathrooms need to be rebuilt. Cleaning them might help, but not much. Left and went to a hotel. And the row of permanent residents behind the lake view get up at 6 am and put their barking dogs out on their porches. Drive anywhere through the national park and enjoy the views but skip this place completely.
