I am a cross country coach and we have taken our team to the Lake Michigan Family Campground for 3 years now. The Retreat center could not be more perfect for us. I love we are able to have this opportunity without needing lots of camping equipment. The campground offers basketball, putt putt golf, volleyball, disc golf, a playground and of course a gorgeous beach. Eric and Cindy take such good care of us! My athletes and I look forward to our stay every year. It is something the kids will remember for many years to come.
Have been coming to this campground for decades, and it's the best it's ever been. The location close to the beach is fantastic, the amenities cater to a wide range of camping styles from tent on the ground, walk-in-ready platform tent camping, RV hookups or a few cabins. The activities and play areas are fantastic for young families (we traveled with 2 kids and 2 dogs) and we have never run out of things to do. The staff are helpful and friendly - highly recommend!
This was our first time at this campground, and it was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The park offered an abundance of activities, there's really no reason your children should ever be bored here. The beach of Lake Michigan butts right up to the camp for amazing sunset views. The park is also 11 minutes from Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
Cool campground with some nice amenities in a great location! If you enjoy disc golf, you could spend all weekend here playing multiple courses.
