Customer Reviews
Quiet place to enjoy nature alone or with family! Picnic tables, parking, restrooms, great playground, shelters. And shade!!! We frequent this park to play but I love sitting by the lake at a picnic table.
Another awesome park for walking and enjoying the views; lovedit!
The camping was not so great. There were chiggers all over the place. Ant mounds throughout the campsite. People being loud. The sheriff’s deputies blazing through the campground. People that are not even camping walking, running, riding through the campground. Just a lot going on for a getaway. One shower per gender for 14 sites and aren’t kept clean.
I like this park a lot. There’s a gym bar for pulls up in the back by the picnic area. Large enough for widespread event space, grills, waterfront, playground, and walkway. I was able to catch a bird show one Saturday morning with falcons, owls, and vultures. On Halloween some kids were dressed as ghosts. Great memories.
The presence of a beautiful lake towards the end of the park is undoubtedly a major attraction. It is a great spot to unwind and take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The calm waters of the lake are perfect for a leisurely boat ride, and the serene atmosphere makes it an excellent spot for fishing. Visitors can take a walk along the lake shore or sit on the benches provided to enjoy the view. The sight of the sun setting over the lake can be an awe-inspiring experience. The availability of multiple pavilions in the park is also noteworthy. These structures are perfect for hosting events such as birthday parties, weddings, or corporate functions. The pavilions are equipped with tables and chairs and are available for rent. They are strategically located in the park, providing easy access to other amenities and attractions. In addition to the lake and pavilions, the park has multiple playgrounds for kids. These play areas are well-maintained and offer a range of equipment suitable for children of different ages. The playgrounds are also fenced, providing a safe environment for children to play in. The park also has a volleyball court and open areas that can be used for various activities such as picnics, yoga, or other outdoor games. In conclusion, the park offers a range of activities and facilities that make it an excellent destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll around the lake, host an event in one of the pavilions, or enjoy a picnic with family and friends. With the various amenities available, the park is suitable for people of all ages, making it an ideal spot for a day trip or a weekend getaway.
