Beautiful place to visit. It was easy to reserve a cabin, check in was easy, staff was friendly. On-site restaurant has good food. We had a larger order and it came out quickly and with out any issues. Family friendly environment, nice swimming area and park. The evenings were quiet and peaceful. Our family had an amazing weekend.
Beautiful place, the area is nice and clean, though the playground looks like it needs some updating, but it was a nice spot. We stayed at a cabin, which was nice and clean. I would suggest you bring your own blankets, theirs are itchy and maybe your own mattress too ... My back is killing 2nd night and I have not been able to sleep on these squeaky old beds. WORST SLEEP EVER.
Loved it clean and quiet been there several times usually rent a little cabin last time stayed at the house
We went on a weekday, the marina diner was serving chicken fried steak dinner only, and the marina store (same building) had some snacks, fishing gear, and boat repair/maintenance parts. The young ladies running the marina were very nice. The marina swimming area was a mess, trash overfilled and on the ground, blowing into the water, but hopefully, that was the result of a busy day at the park and not the normal. We were across the lake on the 4th of July, and the firework show the marina put on was amazing! 40 minutes of entertainment.
I came for the Fourth of July not knowing the bathrooms are like prison. I'm not comfortable in those bathrooms with absolutely no cover at all... not to mention it is disgusting. I definitely won't be back. I still have to pee.
