Here’s what our happy customers have to say:
- "I have become a big fan of this campground. They have walk-in tent sites that go for $16/night and are easily booked through the park website. All have gorgeous lake views to sit and stare at. Each site is equipped with a well kept and very flat tent pad, fire pit, and a grill. There's a water tap sort of in the middle of the tent sites and they even have wagons for everyone's use to load in your stuff. The bathroom is a short walk and it has six individual single stalls with shower and toilet. Makes it so much nicer than having to jostle with a bunch of people waiting for an only semi-private shower. Love this site and looking forward to enjoying it throughout the year. There is plenty of hiking and a marina where they rent kayaks. The people I have encountered have been very nice and helpful. I like that the ranger walks through the site occasionally. Highly recommended for an escape into nature."
While most of our visitors have had positive experiences, we are committed to addressing any concerns and ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued. We strive to provide a respectful and inclusive environment for all our guests.

Very rude and disrespectful park host. We came to this pretty spot wanting to be in nature. We were then approached by two older people. They saw that my partner has tattoos and that were two younger people and right away assumed they need to be rude and look scary or authoritative when talking to us. Then they sent a ranger to check on us again which made us feel Unwelcome and discriminated.
Took my family here for memorial day weekend. Staff and rangers are very friendly. Park is so beautifully maintained and the views are are surpassed by the memory
We stayed at T-8 and it was wonderful. Clean and safe. Loved it all!
Always fun at lake ouachita state park !!
We were so pleasantly surprised by this lovely place--the staff is kind and thoughtful, and everything well taken care of. The hosts and rangers are kind and attentive, always making the rounds to check-in and ensure all is safe and sound. We really enjoyed our time--our first time in Arkansas!
Highly recommend walk in sites that are close to the water if you dont have rv and want to tent camp. Staff works hard to keep it clean and welcoming. Felt welcome here traveling alone.
We stayed in our camper. The view was beautiful, the lake was beautiful, the campground, the bathrooms, the showers, everything was really nice. We loved it and we plan to return.
