Lake of the Woods Resort

Came down while it was snowing, and it was gorgeous! We had lunch at the lodge. Service was slow but understandable. Food was tasty, and my winter inspired drink was just what i needed! (It was called Toasty Buns! Lol) Fantastic place! I could only imagine how incredible it would be in summer!

I'm a regular customer that stops by to eat pizza we walk in no dough ok! There was 6 slices there were 5 of us. I said we'll we can take that his remark was well there won't be enough for other customers! We'll than what we're we? Just some regular customers that loved that place that came every 2 weeks for years now, but one person ruined it for our family.we didn't get those slices 💔 1110am on dec 29 2025

We drove to Lake of the Woods for the first time and had lunch at the Lidge Restaurant. We were seated in the bar area overlooking the lake. Our experience was awesome! Jesse was our server and she was spectacular! She made recommendations about the lake and was an excellent server to boot! We highly recommend a visit to the lake, lunch at the restaurant (ask for Jesse!) and take a stroll around the lake!

Always great customer service. We live 2.5 hours away and there are many other lakes we could go to, but we drive the distance because this place is the best. It can be a really rowdy, intoxicated crowd. Especially around the cabins. And we did have an issue with super drunk neighbors blasting their music, letting their dog roam off leash and having their young teens cleaning up their beer cans the morning after. But that's not the establishments fault. Alcohol will ruin everyones trip. Next time this happens I am just going to call the office and address the issue.

We camped at sunset campground on a holiday weekend. I give our room 5 stars because it's my camper!! The service was good except for the camp host reminding us more than once about the generator rules, which we abided by the whole time. On a positive note, the public restrooms were clean the whole time. All the campsites are very roomy with room for a camp trailer and tent and games and bbq! You cannot beat the location or the views, and now that I think about it, why am I giving such a great review to a great destination in my back yard?!!! The lake is beautiful, the resort is great!! What we used to be able to book a month in advance, now has to be booked 6 months in advance. So plan wisely my sisterhood of campers!!
