My favorite place to camp! They have electricity, hot showers, clean bathrooms, a sink station for washing dishes and washers and dryers if you need them. I love seeing the deer!
Very nice stay at this camping area, not a hotel. As this indicates. 🤭😊 The camp hosts are so nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. It was nice, quiet, and so nice to see all the deer out and about. We got in some running and biking in the area.
We went camping 🏕 with my husband and was a beautiful and nice place. The bathroom 🚻 is very clean, and in there, you can find laundry and showers 🚿 ( the fee is very reasonable, around$2.00)
It's an ok place to camp at for local quick weekend getaways. More favorable to camp here between fall thru spring, summers must get very hot.
Just an hour's drive from Los Angeles, Lake Piru is a wonderful spot for anyone who loves water activities. If you have your own boat or jet ski, you'll find the expansive lake ideal for a day of fun on the water. For those without their own equipment, you can rent a boat for about $450 for half a day, and these boats can accommodate around 12 people, making it perfect for group outings. One of the highlights of Lake Piru is the opportunity to take your boat across the lake and enjoy paddleboarding or floating. The water is really shallow and peaceful, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. There's even a swing hanging from a tree that lets you jump straight into the water, adding a touch of adventure to your visit. The park also offers great amenities for a perfect day out. There are tables and BBQ grills everywhere, making it easy to have a picnic or a cookout with family and friends. For those looking for a bit more shade and comfort, there's even a gazebo available. Bathrooms are easily accessible, ensuring convenience for all visitors. Additionally, the staff at Lake Piru are very friendly and approachable, enhancing the overall experience with their helpfulness. The entry fee is $14 per car, and it's worth noting that the park is dog-friendly for an additional $3, so you can bring your furry friend along for the fun. Also, there’s a small store onsite in case you need water or a light snack. Overall, Lake Piru is a fantastic destination for a day trip, offering a range of activities in a serene and picturesque setting.
The sites were flat and clean. The water was a little weird, there are spigots but some of the locals said they don’t drink from it and bring in bottled water. Restrooms were clean but damaged since some people are disrespectful. The staff cleaned/mopped the toilets twice while we were there! I’d go back for sure.
Nice lake , not too busy . Go camping , do some fishing. Get outdoors it's good for the mind and body.
