Clean Bath House is a plus, large lots your not on top of each other. Very quite after 9 p.m. no partiers and loud music. Staff is great especially Joyce Harris, she works the office very friendly and knowledgeable.
Service: 10/10 Knowledgeable staff at the office answered all of my questions Cleanliness: 7/10 Mostly clean but there seems to be a lot of wasted fishing line along the lake at the fishing spots which could be dangerous if they have hooks on them Atmosphere: 10/10 Very cozy place, very fun and welcoming Busy: 5/10 It has everything that bigger resorts have except the crowds Value: 9/10 It was only $3.50 to get in the pool. But its cash only Overall: 10/10 This is a really nice place and I highly recommend it For my video review, search for "trail heads" channel on YouTube
I love fishing here it's quiet peaceful and lots of fish. Had a family get together for mother's day here. We had a picnic and everything was great other guests was polite and friendly. Awesome place to fish
This place is gorgeous! Rent a kayak, bring your boat, play in the park, grill under the huge pavillion, hike/walk a trail along the picture perfect lake! So many activities. Plus a cute campground!
Just the right combination of rustic appeal and amenities. Don't expect anything fancy here, but the campground is well designed and maintained, suitable for anything from tents to large rv's. It has electric, water, a bath house and dump station, as well as a small rental cabin, set among tall trees. The recreation facilities are close enough to walk to and include a lake that has good bass and bluegill fishing and boating, there is an excellent swimming pool, a tennis court, playground, picnic shelter, and about 10 miles of trails. To camp you must arrive AND set up prior to the gate being locked, which is 9pm in the summer.
