This was the first time we stayed at a KOA campground and we will be back for sure!! The Halloween Bash was super fun! We got to decorate our cabin, eat cupcakes, dress up in our costumes, and decorate pumpkins! The registration office was decorated beautifully with tons of cool things at the gift shop! The staff were very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. They escorted us to our sites and really made our experience so memorable! The cabin and Airstream were very clean and nicely decorated too! The playground was kid-friendly and it even had tetherball! The campground itself was very clean, green, and beautifully situated between Echo Lake and Lake Tahoe. Holiday Market was close by and Sonny’s BBQ was great for dinner! Overall, we had such a blast and I can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality and kindness! We will be back for sure!! (:

Easily a five-star experience! I stayed for a week and would've stayed longer if i could. The location is spot-on—peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything you could need. The people here are incredibly kind and truly care about making your stay the best it can be. The RV park itself is fantastic, with a heated pool, a propane refill station, and beautiful trees all around, creating the perfect spot to kick back and relax. It’s clear they’re putting in the work to make this one of the best KOA locations, and from what I saw, they’re well on their way. Whether you’re just passing through or staying longer, I highly recommend it. This place is a gem and I had an amazing experience!

A Fantastic Stay! My family and I recently stayed here, and we had an absolute blast! We’re already planning to come back. A huge thank you to the Property Managers, Frank and Yerica, for being so welcoming and helpful. They answered all our questions about the campsite and shared great recommendations for places to visit in Tahoe. It’s clear they truly care about the campground, which made our stay even better. This place is absolutely AMAZING! There’s a small playground for the kids, a beautiful creek with running water, a walking trail, a Snack Shack, and excellent internet on the property. What’s more, it’s conveniently located just 4 minutes away from a grocery store, gas stations, great Mexican food (Sombreros) and other restaurants. It’s the perfect spot to relax before heading out to Heavenly Village or exploring the rest of Tahoe. Highly recommend this campground for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway!

We have been here at the Lake Tahoe KOA for 5 days staying in our 32' travel trailer and have had a very enjoyable experience. The management are so hospitable and welcoming. Bathrooms And laundry facilities are clean and convenient. The campsites are very nice, level, and easy to get in and out. We enjoyed having the creek running behind the campground and taking our dogs for walks around the campground. The KOA location is perfect as it is the halfway point between Echo lake, horsetail falls and South lake Tahoe (15 minutes to both) and convenient location for easy routes to many attractions in the area! Beautiful and natural forest setting allows for a restful stay.

Do not spend your money unless it's an emergency on this location!! First of all, they never answered the phone during Open Hours, this place is just a park and sleep "LITERALLY " we booked a tent campsite 352 way in the back, the Freeway is about 80 feet from that site so you will listen to traffic every second! This is Not a recreational place, its no place to walk around with your kids or dogs. Did I mention that once the sun is down you better have a lamp or flashlight because there is no light what so ever, you won't see where you are going! No fire season really sucked for us, I had booked for 3 days and we only stayed 1 night and left. No way of Turning time back around to change our reservation somewhere else but at least we now learn what not do next time.
