People on here talking about it’s disgusting. If the bathroom is dirty is a good thing, it means not everyone is pissing in the water. This place is an awesome place for kids of all ages. Lifeguard on duty. And the water is pretty clear for SE Texas.Shaded picnic tables. And even got a cabin in case you want to camp out. Despite the negative comment
My gf and her family remembered this place as ugly and dirty. She decided to take me and she said she did not remember it this nice and clean. Clear red/golden water due to the soil, I am guessing. The shore has been laid in sand, so it gives it a beach vipe. Lifeguards on duty. Nice spots to dive from a decently high point. $9 per person and $20 for the table if you do not want your stuff to be on the sand.
We had the best time at Lake Texas! The beach was clean with soft sand, and the water was perfect for cooling off. There are lifeguards on duty, which made it feel super safe for the kids. The small kids’ area has a gentle water slide that’s perfect for little ones, and the diving boards and piers kept the older kids (and adults!) entertained. It’s really a great spot for all ages. They also have grills if you want to cook out and a snack bar with treats and drinks if you don’t want to pack lunch—super convenient! Affordable pricing: • Ages 3 & under: FREE • Ages 4–17: $3 • Adults: $5 Overall, it’s a clean, safe, and fun lake spot that’s perfect for families.
Great little clean lake. The water was perfect, 3 different diving platforms, water trampoline, kids slide, food stand, and equipment for rent. There's also RV spots, little cabins, and picnic areas along the beach. Perfect little area and it wasn't jammed pack with people. Closes at 6pm.
I love this place, it's 8$ to swim per person or 7$ if the group is larger than 4. Floaties are available for rent, so there's that. Staff is nice enough too😁we will always bring the family here, I’ve been coming since I was a small kid and now my daughter loves it. A great place to bring your kids.
