Made a spur of the moment stop here to camp at the end of the season (late September/early October) and had an incredibly relaxing time. Shower facilities were good, hot water was plentiful. Cell phone signal was good enough that I managed to get some gaming in on my hotspot.
Awesome Campground! One of the biggest concerns is the cleanliness of the toilets and these are well maintained! Water facilities and the classes for the kids keep them entertained during the camping. Parking is 2 per site but there is plenty of off-site parking for more cars. You need to pay $10 per extra car.
Great place to camp with the family. Horseback riding. Nice lake to swim, a bit cold. Camp fires have been restricted for the past few years. Great hot showers and restrooms.
A little cold and windy when I visited but that was good since there weren’t many people around. Fantastic beach with a view! I would like to paddle this lake (there is a boat ramp too). Lots of campsites. Great place to visit especially in the summer. Although I’m betting it’s super busy!
Very nice campground with lots of things to do! The south campground has a store, horse trails, beach activities. I’ve stayed at both the north and south loop campgrounds. This one has more amenities and rentals. If you’re looking for nearby trails, the trail in the north loop is much longer.
