They are cabins. Knotty pine inside. Air conditioning, well with that heat. Hard to keep up . Great staff! Welcoming! And great people staying there. Wish we had a firepit, but we'll appointed kitchen. Comfy beds. Will definitely be back!! Oh. And kayaks and paddle boards for guests!! And the views!!!
We stayed here with our school age child. The cabin itself was alright. Unfortunately, some of the curtains are somewhat shear and curtains in the kitchen and the bathroom are only half curtains. We wound up putting a towel over the bathroom window during our stay to prevent being seen from outside the cabin! The stove top is also gas, so be prepared for that. Overall the cabin was clean and tidy and also had wifi access. The grounds were lovely. Our cabin had a private fire pit and grill, as well as a gorgeous view of the lake. There is an adorable little gift shop that is perfect for finding a souvenir from your trip. The staff are very friendly and have fabulous customer service. Sadly our stay was continuously interrupted by the owner's adult children who were staying rhe cabin next to us. We felt pressure not to say anything knowing that they were their children. One of the ladies moved her grill from her unit to directly behind my car and asked if it was okay to grill there. I told her that I did not appreciate her grilling only a foot from my vehicle, and she began complaining about us and making comments about our vehicle. We never responded beyond telling her not to grill behind our car, but she continued to try to interact with us, and we heard them discussing that they would just use our charcoal, lighter fluid, etc, leading us to bring our firewood inside at night. We left early, because we felt that we could not bring up a complaint as they were the owner's children.
It's a cabin. Every thing you need, but towels. It was hot, and the air was skeptical.
This resort is the best on lake Wisconsin! Most of the cabins have been recently renovated and hey are in the process of renovating the rest. The owners and staff are all wonderful people, very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to come to fish or just enjoy the lake with family and friends. I have been coming for years and plan of going for years to come. You can't go wrong with Lake Wisconsin Resort.
We had a relaxing 4 days. Love this place. So homey. Has everything you need but we still over pack stuff.
