Pros: The cabin was great for what I needed. A place for my wife and son to stay warm and cozy, so I could go snowboard for a couple hours. When I got back after his nap, we could go explore and play in the snow. 10/10 experience for my little guy. Cons: very minimal direction. When we left, there was no place to drop off the key, and everything was closed. The only way to get information without waiting in line at the bar was to go to the website - you have to ask for the wifi password to get to the website. It would be nice if each building had its hours listed somewhere. Also a menu for the restaurant would be huge too and not that difficult Google says they serve breakfast, and a bunch of items they don't. The restaurant opens at 4pm, and it's just steak - no pizza etc. 1/10 experience. Everything is under construction, so I'm sure they'll improve with time.

We had a great time at the Lakeshore resort. We had 2 cabins and loved the fact they had been renovated since our last visit. It was so relaxing and quiet. We had one minor issue with the smoke detector going off all the time but once we reported it, it was taken care of. We also asked for leaded coffee for our room instead of the decaf they had and they immediately came and brought it to me. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We even saw a family of deer right across the street from us and then they walked through our camp. What majestic animals. We will definitely plan on coming back.

We stayed here late last snow season and we're definitely coming back this year! Great location near China peak, food was great at the lodge and everyone we dealt with was just so pleasant to deal with. Was all around a fantastic experience and we're definitely coming back this year!

We camped here in our rv for 3 nights. You’re able to choose your site online. They do need to update their rv site map because it is a little confusing and some of the spots are really tight for bigger rvs. Upon arriving there was someone in one of our spots. Called and they had someone go talk to the guy to tell him to move. He refused to move so then we had to do a bunch of scrambling because we had 3 trailers in our group and we had planned to be by each other. Cody, Aaron, and Erin tried to accommodate us as best they could but it seemed there was some miscommunication considering the reservations are based out of Los Angeles. I found it strange that we had to accommodate the guy in our site but we moved past that and after getting situated in our new spots started to enjoy the beautiful weather. There are 23 rv sites total so it’s pretty quiet for the most part and the kids could ride their bikes around no problem. There’s a creek you can walk along and it will take you down to the lake. We happened to be here during catamaran races and they had a concert series with food trucks, vendors, and live music within walking distance. Erin down at the saloon was awesome! She’s so nice and tried to help us out as best she could. The guys Aaron and Cody did their best to and were really helpful. On the day we were leaving the campsite next to us had the sewer backup and cody was there asap to fix it. The campground is really old so I'm sure the sewer can use some working on. They are doing a lot of construction and revamping so it will be really nice when it’s all done in a couple years. All in all it is a charming place and we plan to come back and hopefully won’t run into the same issues we had this time.

We absolutely loved our stay here. 10/10 from us. The rooms are very clean and homey. The property manager Linda was so amazing, she helped us throughout the entire stay and ensured that we had the best possible experience. The saloon and food was amazing as well. Just a few minutes drive from China peak makes this a fantastic option for lodging during the cold months. I highly recommend checking this place out.
