5-Stars all around! The owners, Tony and Penny, made us feel welcomed from the first phone call to arrival at check-in. Prices were super reasonable. The campground itself was very well maintained and the spot we booked (without ever being there before) was so picturesque and serene, it was the perfect getaway! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a little adventure, a little relaxation and a LOT of fun!
My 4th year at Lakeside and this year we were upgraded to the brand new poolside yurt. We LOVED it! Spacious, comfortable, clean and a nice location by the pool. We have stayed in the cabins which we love as well as the trailers which are also good but the yurt...fantastic! Penny and Tony are great as always, keeping everything running smooth and providing lots of activities that appealed to the kids (of all ages). See you next year.
Lakeside Campground is Amazing! - very accommodating management -great amenities for families including: Fishing pond Kiddie Train Playground -nice clean restrooms -showers cost $0.25 but are hot and clean -very beautiful setting
Had a great camping weekend. Owners were nice and plenty of fun things to do for the kids Only complaint was the $.25 showers, that was a real pain with all the kids needing to take showers. I’m already paying for a site and I have to feed the shower quarters? These coin machines look like they came from a cheap 50’s motel with the vibrating bed. I’d rather pay a little extra ($5 a day?) I’d have to take over 20 showers a day for you the place to lose money. It’s just really not very good hospitality for your guests.
My wife and I camped here while in transit to/from our camping site in PA. We found the Lakeside Campground very quiet and clean with the majority of sites in shady locations, with a beach and private lake for fishing and a pool. The staff were very amenable having the patience to answer all of our questions. It is about 4 hrs driving from our home in near Ottawa, Canada.
We enjoyed our stay in the Lakeside Yurt over an extremely rainy and chilly Memorial Day Weekend. The yurt was beautifully crafted and it had wonderful amenities. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and our pup! We enjoyed walking around the campgrounds as there was not a lot of heavy car traffic in and out. Everyone there was extremely pleasant and friendly from start to finish. Definitely a family friendly campground! Thank you Lakeside Campground for an amazing weekend!
