Customer Feedback
  • Review 1: "Lakeside Getaway is a beautiful, family-oriented and quiet environment. We had so much fun this weekend. LaShann is a wonderful host. She met us as soon as we got there and showed us where our site was located. She checked on us several times throughout our stay making sure we had everything we needed. We rented kayaks and watched the fireworks from the water! And the sunset on the lake was breathtaking. It was an amazing experience overall! We will be visiting again soon!!!!"
  • Review 2: "Great location right on the lake. The campground is a work in progress. The owner is installing electrical service and creating about 11 sites. In season they have kayaks for rent. The lake is lowered by TVA every winter for flood control."

Campground is a horrible neighbor. Loud noise, people screaming and yelling til all hours of the night. His kid flying up and down other peoples properties with an ATV. Campground is in the middle of a neighborhood. We only went there once for a birthday party for a friend and we live only a couple doors down, but we would never tell anyone to frequent this place. The owner and his friends are now writing fake reviews, I would trust a local guide before I trusted anyone with 3 reviews.

Had a great overnight stay. Owners friendly and very accommodating. Beautiful lake views and pretty sunset! Nice common area with dock and large shelter. Easy in and out and electric and water hook up available for a fee. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful little spot in the cove. A hidden gem for locals. Makes the perfect place for beginner kayakers. Super friendly host. We are looking forward to spending many days here enjoying the water.

Wow! Such a hidden gem! My sons and I traveled around the U.S. and visited 14 different campsites from Chicago to D.C. and this was our favorite. Rented a kayak and paddleboard and parked them on our lake front campsite, and that night paddled out to the middle of the resouvour to float in tranquil silence and admire the stars. What a unique experience! Owners are super nice and inviting and even came around with Popsicles at sunset for us. The place was super quiet, even on the weekend of the 4th of July. I can't say enough great things about this place!
