An unexpected situation during our trip home required us to find a campsite late in the evening. Lake View Haven in Glendo, Wyoming, kindly accommodated our late arrival, showcasing exemplary customer service. The owners' warm hospitality and attention to our needs were particularly noteworthy. The campground's clean, spacious facilities and well-appointed campsites ensured a relaxing stay. Our positive experience has added Glendo, Wyoming, to our list of favored destinations, primarily due to Lake View Campground's extensive amenities, including full hookups, showers, laundry facilities, and cabin rentals. Stopped and stayed for one night on our way through. The owner is great and was very helpful in accommodating us. The rooms are a little older, but it's exactly what we were looking for when we chose to stay here instead of a chain place in Douglas. I would definitely stay here again.

Good, Bad and the Ugly.... Stayed here for two nights, starting on 2 Sept 22. Staff were excellent when it comes to customer service, however, the bad out weighed this. Upon arriving, we learned our site we reserved was changed. This wasn't too bad but the new site had zero shade and no table. The older sites appeared to have a table but not their new sites. This was fixed though. Also quite dusty. Cars and trailers driving by kicked up quite a mess at times. Also the bathrooms were clean but only a couple doors on the toilets. If busy you either have to wait or use a doorless toilet. They do offer some limited items for sale at the office, however, everytime we went there, the door was locked and you have to ring a doorbell for service. I personally didn't feel comfortable doing this, since it felt like I may be disturbing them. Instead we ran to a store. It may have also been nice to know how low the lake was when we made reservations. I would not have made the trip had I known the lake was so low and you can't even park close to it and once you walk down to it, once again no shade anywhere. I fished for a little bit but the sun chased us away. Also don't rely on a good night sleep. Our loud neighbors kept us awake while they partied until 2:00am and the next day they left their dog in their trailer and it barked all day long while they were at the lake. Very irritating. Last but not least, if your neighbors don't keep you awake, the train definitely will. Trains run all night long and sound/feel like they are running right through the site. We made the best of our stay but I definitely wish we had gone somewhere else...

My dad was staying here and got sick. The the proprietors Sheree and Justin and their daughters took care of his dog while he was hospitalized. I had to come get dad's dog and his RV. Justin helped me learn how to pack up dad's rig for moving. By the end of 24 hours here, I felt like family. They are amazing people, and they have put a lot of work into the place since taking it over (new gravel, bathrooms and showers updated).

We had a room booked for us for 3 nights by our family. When we arrived we learned that the room booked for us had no bathroom. We went to the office and expressed our concerns and she quickly made changes to the schedule and got us into a room with a bathroom and kitchenette. She said that she hadn't finished cleaning the room or making the bed but if we gave her a few moments it would be ready for us. So at 1030 at night she was making beds and vacuuming the room. Even provided a cot for our son to sleep on instead of the floor. Highly recommend this establishment.
