Lakeview Motel

The owners are very nice and accommodating. The location for a boater is amazing being at the top of a boat ramp. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Is this place fancy? Not in any stretch of the amagination. There were drywall repairs that were not complete, and the bathroom door wasn't quite operational. Be for 79bucks a night and right on the lake. You just can't go wrong.

Needs so much major upkeep our door was so damaged from someone with a crow bar. the bottom door seal was gone off the door, rain was coming into the room and bugs or snakes could crawl in under the door. The dressers were damaged beyond repair and full of someone else's garbage. The toilet was child's size, good water pressure and hot water for showers. Concerning the heat and ac unit on the wall idk if it ever had its air screens cleaned. I washed them and it plugged the tub. The entire store attached to it was barely stocked the gas station was out of gas. it did have a working microwave and mini fridge. Beds seemed clean and towels seemed clean. The bed is really low to the floor and it was super bouncy like a old spring mattress. The kitchen chairs were so wobbly, I was afraid of it collapsing while sitting down. The owners are super nice but need to put a bunch of money into this place, it could be a really amazing place to go to

New people own this place. It's now named Hook. There is a grocery store / bait & tackle shop / motel and boat storage. The New owners are some of the best ppl I have ever met. The rooms have microwave mini fridge and coffee pot. The rooms are also clean and comfortable.

I would give this establishment 10 stars if I could! This place is immaculate. The management is unbelievably real. I cannot understand why only 8 people prior to me have reviewed this motel. The property has been in the same family since 1919. I stay in more than 50 motels annually. This is a gem. If you want something different and more real than an interstate chain look no further.

Clean, spacious and plenty of room for a two year old to run around. Showers work awesome, no flooded feet. Management are wonderful and helpful folks. Definitely would recommend!
