It was our first time visiting Lakewood Park and we LOVED it! The owners and the staff are very nice, always available, and super accommodating. This campground has very clean bathhouses with HEATED floors! The campsites are very spacious, clean, and easy to find. Their store has pretty much anything you need in case you forgot any toiletry. We can't wait to visit it during the summer to experience the great lake activities! I highly recommend this campground!
We are seasonal campers and love this campground! It's very clean. The sites are large and have mature trees. The owners are fantastic. Don't hesitate to camp here. They have full hookups, cabins and tent sites with power and water.
This campground had absolutely the best bath houses I've ever seen. We played bingo one night. The next night they had a pajama hay ride. Great place for adults and children!
This was our first trip to this campground and my family and I loved it here! We will be back!!! Overall we had a wonderful time/experience here. Even though they are currently expanding, the campground was very clean and well maintained. Nice, large sites…..we had a pull through in the newer section of the campground. Furthermore, the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. And the same can be said for their seasonal residents, in particular, “Mayor Joe”. Hopefully, during your stay here you’ll be fortunate enough to bump into and hang out with Mayor Joe, great guy! Highly recommend a stay at this campground!
This campground is very nice. Sites are large. Placement of the utilities could have been thought out better for some of the sites. It was clean and very scenic. We were a bit miffed when we went to rebook the same sites for next year as we were told they were already taken. They did offer us 2 equally nice sites, so it was not a deal breaker. There is no pool but a large lake with free use of kayaks and paddle boats. They are adding additional sites. Price per night is a bit steep. Overall, it was a good experience.
