Lakewood Travel Park

I have lived here ten years now (two different houses) and I like it here. People complain about management and lot rent prices but this is Florida, everywhere is going up. Of course, there is always room for improvement, there is opportunity to make this place even better but home is what you make of it. People are friendly, they watch out for each other and for they most part, it is a very enjoyable place to live. ~Signed, (honorary) Governor Shawn 😀 ~

This is an unsafe place. Had tires slashed while evacuated for the hurricane and the park has no security. The water was brown and really drinkable without filtration. A lot of run down RVs and mobile homes. Maintenance lawn people repeatedly cut the sewer line from the RV causing sewage to spill all over the place. The entire park smells like raw sewage and duck feces. I would consider another park if you're looking if I were you

Bathrooms are never cleaned. Maintenance Garry took down all soap dispenser and toilet paper dispenser and paper towels. Park does not provide toiletries. But included in your lot rent. Plastic shower curtains that can't be cleaned and sanitized. Bathroom garbage is left for weeks with kotez pads baby diapers and dirty toilet paper. One toilet been broken 4 years another toilet embedded with sewer flies. Raw sewage often backed up in sinks. Another toilet litterly has raw sewage comes out from the bottom when flushed. When I complained to Julie manager she yelled and hung up on me then gave me 30 day notice to move. Garry Maintenance supervisor instead of fixing toilets he just screwed the doors shut. Went on 4 years I lived there. The exterior is completely rotten with wood hanging. Vacant lots that have piled up wood debris from trailers being removed for over a year. I would be embarrassed if I was manager. Place needs to be bulldozed and barried. Live at your own risk there. Water is often Orange, stings your skin when showering. Infestation of sewer rats. Management is by worse that I've ever seen. Litterly watched Garry Maintenance supervisor clean sinks with toilet brush. I have a gallery of photos of serious issues here but I have been encouraged to not share them at this time.

Julie is amazing. She truly cares about the people in the park. This park has gotten so much better and cleaner too. Great service friendly people. Thank you so much Julie for making me feel like family. I definitely recommend this park.

Rusty water, received damage on our RV from yard worker. Tires were punctured. Stay here at your own risk.
