Very serene and easy hike up and back Flint Creek trail. Lots of small waterfalls and path is easy. A good place for a “forest bath”!
This park was absolutely beautiful! Very well kept up and very clean. Just be careful of glass here and there and fishing hooks that were left behind. I highly suggest wearing water shoes if you're going to go in the streams. The water hole was crystal clear blue water with such a nice little waterfall and all sorts of Critters in the water. We were able to find some cool looking fish and a bunch of crayfish. The kids and adults both had fun. It's like a little rainforest in the middle of Tennessee!
Want to take a hike along gorgeous creeks, maybe do some trout fishing, see some glow worms or fireflies? You can do all this and more at Rocky Fork. It is so magical here. Wonderful rangers and great special programming. One of our favorite places.
I took a nice easy hike next to the water, and it was super refreshing and worth the stop. Trails were all maintained depending on how deep you go into the woods. Overall, it was worth the visit and would go again.
We went backpacking and stayed at the Headwaters Campsite. The trail up is gorgeous the entire way. The campsite was great, so tucked away and perfect for the 1 nite getaway!
