My boyfriend and I have been traveling across the country camping and this was one of the best spots we’ve been to. The laundry room and bathroom were SPOTLESS. Cleaner than any gas station or rest stop. The campground itself was also super organized and clean. It overlooks Lake Erie which is beautiful and it felt like a very safe place to be.
This is a charming little campground located on Lake Erie. It's clean, well organized, the bathrooms are immaculate. The only thing is they don't have sewer at each site but that's not really a deal breaker because they do have 2 dump stations. The only truly inconvenient item is they lock the gates at dark and if you want to get back into the park you either walk or drive the extra few blocks to get back into the park. We would definitely stay there again.
This was a great campground. Large sites with room in between. Super clean restrooms. Very quiet. Located right on the water. We will return if in the area again.
My boyfriend and I tent camped here for two nights and had a wonderful experience! The camp hosts, Dee and Bill, were so friendly and helpful! Dee even delivered campfire wood to our site for us. And an added bonus - their dog Bentley was so cute! All of the people we met here were kind and inviting, and the campground was very quiet and peaceful. The facilities were clean, well kept, and easily accessible. We had power and water at our site as well as a campfire ring and picnic table. There is also a pier that goes out to Lake Erie right next to the campground that was nice to walk on. We had a great time here and would strongly recommend staying here!
My family and I love camping at Lampe Campground. Fishing at the South Pier is just a 1 minute walk from the campground entrance. The sunsets are beautiful. I love the concrete trailer sites. The entire campground is clean and well maintained, including the bathroom/shower facility.
