It was really hot when we arrived for a week at Lancaster Resort this summer past. It was nice to find the air conditioning was already on in our rental unit. We forgot our suntan lotion and the host Elaine gave us some of hers. Thank you. I love fishing and it was a great location for me. My wife Kathy liked relaxing in the heated salt water pool. The grounds were beautifully landscaped so added to our relaxing vacation. We are planning on coming back in 2023.
The lake is nice, but thats about it, had two guys just pull up chairs and watch my family for hours. Pool is gross, tonnes of garbage at entrance, and oil spillage by the docks. We tried to fill up the gas tank of our boat so we drove our car down the road a short way, and the owner immediately came out and asked us to move the car. My family paid for our dock, so there's no reason we shouldn't have had reasonable time to take the gas tanks down. Overall kinda cringe experience.

Don't waste your money here. Positive reviews written by family members to boost their ratings. The owners Elaine and Aaron are greedy scammers and have no regard for anyone. They kicked everyone out so they could hike the prices. They gave little to no notice costing families thousands of dollars to relocate their trailers. They don't maintain the park. Septic and well are in terrible shape. Owners said park had to close as they couldn't afford to fix everything that was required to keep the park open. If there was a zero rating it would be too generous.
If I could give this resort less than 1 star I would. I personally lost 50 thousand dollars by the scamming resort owners ( as outlined in other reviews) What they have done to people in this park is criminal. Please don’t be fooled by good reviews they are posted by family members who live in the park. septic and water is disgraceful, sewage back up. No water most of the time BEWARE.
