GREAT place for a family get away!! We went to the Elk and Bison range and saw lots of bison and several turkeys and their young ones. We enjoyed an awesome movie in the planetarium about our night sky, wildlife, and constellation identification. And, then we visited the Nature Station with their Red Tail Hawk, wolves, coyote, owls, and hummingbirds. There is also a 1850's working farm and various picnic areas and numerous other outdoor activities....😊

One of the coolest parks I've ever been to. I have visited several times and each time I discover something new. Really awesome longer trails for experienced hikers as well as shorter kid friendly trails with lots of wildlife. Surrounded by water and some of the most beautiful sunset watching spots I've been to. Great fishing spots everywhere too and very dog friendly.

A great place to visit for the day or weekend. LBL is full of trails, campgrounds, and activities. The Elk and Bison Prarie is amazing to drive though. All the campgrounds are great. If you want to really get away, there are several backcountry camping areas.
