Lang's Resort

The lake is beautiful as is nature! The houses are old and dirty, the deck for fishing is excellent! A big minus is that the distance between the houses is very small, there is no privacy! I am very disappointed that the owner did not take measures to calm the violent neighbors with angry dogs, this is not a resort for dogs, there is simply no place for them to walk. I was always afraid that the neighbors' dogs would attack my daughter.

Stay away from this place! The furniture smells like must, we were infested with ants and there are mice droppings inside the kitchen cupboards. The dock is dangerous as there are many loose boards. One of their rental boats has had a dead fish rotting in it for a week. Our rented boat was dirty and front seat is busted. The pool cover is mouldy and the deck had a huge chunk of hair on it. The pool isn't the cleanest but that happens when you don't leave the filter on. Don't understand why the pool area was closed in, it's too hot in the summer. Why do you need a hot tub and sauna only to charge your guests to use it? We've been coming here for 10 years but this will be the last. The new owners have let the place run down. Instead of sitting in the store playing solitaire, clean the chicken crap around the property that your freely running chickens leave! So disappointed. Would leave less than 1 star if I could. Was always sad to see our week end but this year we can't wait to get the heck out of here!

Great place! Had a great time, everything was easy. Some minor maintenance issues with our cottage but it did not affect our trip at all. Owner was great and easy to get a hold of any time of day. Very Covid Safe.

In a cove keeps the boats out of the wind. Has some electric at dock to charge the batteries. Had free use of tumbler to scale the fish. Fish cleaning house. Use your GPS to find gas and groceries about 5 miles away I think. They have few items in their store. We were there May 20 till 27 gills just coming in . Two of us caught 560 gills mostly in last 4 days. You are allowed 300 per person but Only 30 can be over 7.2 in. when you clean them. I don't know how they could tell the size. You also have to keep a 1 in. patch of skin on them for id. To bring back to the states. The dock does have some bad boards on it.

Family has been going here for years. We are now looking for a new place! New owners are concerned for adding things you will pay for! Game room and hot tub that cost you money, and they close at 6pm so if you are out fishing you are out of luck. Dock is in need of repairs, use at your own risk. Freezer to keep your fish frozen so you can take them home broken. Beds and furniture old and I mean old and dirty. Find somewhere else to stay!!!!!!
