Langley Point Introduce
Langley Point: Your Premier Destination for Lakeside Camping at Kanopolis State Park
For Kansans looking to escape the ordinary and dive into a true outdoor adventure, Langley Point in the Kanopolis State Park area offers an exceptional retreat. Situated on the shores of Kanopolis Lake, this is more than just a place to park your RV or pitch a tent—it is a full-featured recreation area designed to provide an unforgettable lakeside experience in the heart of the scenic Smoky Hills region.
As one of the two primary campground areas within Kansas's first state park, Langley Point is renowned for its diverse camping options and superb access to water-based activities. Whether you are bringing a massive RV, looking for a simple tent site, or even seeking the comfort of a modern cabin, Langley Point has a spot perfectly suited for your needs. Guests consistently praise the peaceful atmosphere, often finding the low-key environment ideal for a relaxing weekend of fishing and reconnecting with family, even when unexpected cancellations force a change of plans. From the gentle lapping of the lake to the convenience of the nearby marina, Langley Point truly embodies the spirit of Kansas's great outdoors.
Even with occasional water level fluctuations—a common occurrence at reservoir lakes following necessary dam repairs—the fundamental enjoyment of relaxing, rock hunting, and lakeside activities remains a core draw for local users who appreciate this well-maintained state park facility.

Customer Reviews
Nice quiet Easter weekend. Some of our family was sick, so we cancelled our gatherings and relaxed at the lake. Hart Marina store has a few necessary items in case you run short- and they’ll make you a pizza if you call ahead. The lake is really low, they completed repairs to the dam- but still a nice place to relax and fish
It was awesome.so nice to have been kidnapped for a drive to the lake to rock hunt.thank you Chris and Lori
Nice play areas, but beach leaves a lot to be desired!
