Las Vegas KOA Journey at Sam's Town Journey

Expensive RV Parking Lot. Most of the sites are buddy sites with minimum to no space between the site. It is not even possible to have a BBQ or even a table. The sites are back to back exactly like a parking lot. During the week, the camping was not more than 30 % occupancy, and they put a RV back to us most of the time (bad planning in my point of view). The pool was not heated (February) and the SPA was broken (not water jets, it was air bubbles, completely inadequate to procure a massage). Positive: The campground is conveniently located beside a casino and bus stop to get to the strip and downtown. The people at the reception are nice and friendly.

This KOA is more than AOK. Excellent staff, very clean and well-kept property. You'll find a large laundromat next beautiful pool area. They offer a great variety of spaces, including private fenced doggy yard, gazebo patio, or just a simple standard, all have full hookup.

My family and I LOVE this KOA! We just purchased a travel trailer and started our RV life, and we were a little concerned about places to camp. My husband and I decided to inquire about reservations so we can experience KOA life as new RV travelers camping out. I'm so glad we did. The staff is PHENOMENAL! Not only were we welcomed with open arms, Tim helped up hook up our electricity, water, and sewer. He even helped us with securing our RV so it is level with the level blocks. It's clean, quiet, and so peaceful. We will definitely plan on camping here often when we are not boondocking. Oh, sign up for the KOA membership! I was offered an extra 25% off if we stayed an extra day. Of course we took it! Already have 500 points toward rewards! This helps with our expenses and such. Thank you so much.

Like this place and have stayed here during travels through the state. I am a 38ft 5th wheel, put me in a smaller pull through that I had to unhook, couldn’t fit in the front it was so tight. Dog park is a dirt lot, there could be more dog garbage pots around the park. This RV park is always very clean, had a good stay despite stuffed in a small pull through spot. They are very diligent about keeping this park safe and clean.

Sam's Town KOA was an excellent place to stay. The pool area had soft, romantic lighting at night, creating a lovely ambiance. The campground was conveniently located beside the casino, featuring a spacious, well-maintained dog run. I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a clean, tidy, and enjoyable place to stay.
