Great campsite! We stayed in the tent area, and was shocked at how many amenities we got to enjoy. The tent area is a large shared area with no official campsite and a lot of the activities are in that area. It got a bit overwhelming at times, next time (if allowed) I think I will get an RV site just because of our busy kids. We loved playing pool, and it was easy to take the small kids to the club house and keep them contained while cleaning dishes. The gem is the river! A pretty shared site, with tubes, and other water toys. A small children’s swimming hole and room for the littles to play on the bank! Further up the river is a large swimming hole that seems to be 16-20ft at its deepest!(we love to swim) Everyone was so welcoming, and we felt very secure. The park was very clean and well kept. We can’t wait to go back!

Love this place. It's peaceful, quiet and the owners are very nice. It's a little tight for big rigs such as ours(45 feet) , but Robert helped us get out so it was all good. It's shaded and there are many activities to enjoy in the area. It's right on the river, easy access to swimming or just lounging around in the water.

Nice family run RV park. Quiet, mostly shading parking spots. Lazy river on the west side of the park that has access to the rv park. A short 45 minute drive to Jeremiah Smith Redwoods State Park, just across the state line into California. It would be best to drive a smaller vehicle to the Redwoods. About 80% full-time tenants, but mostly well kept. Gravel roads and camp spots. Some grassy areas. The only real negative is that the water pressure is quite low. We had 20 psi at our site. Very limited cable tv available. Would book again. We have a class A, only a few spots big enough. Oh, and sadly, the Alpaca are no longer at the park.

This pace is the worst .. #1 the access to the Illinois river is the absolute worst section of the river I have ever seen… knee high water for the entire section of there property.. not what they show in there pictures. And completely not possible to swim for anyone. #2The camp host guy was super weird and would be creeping around our campsite and trying to interact with the women any time there wasn’t a man around made everyone uncomfortable.#3 Haitian migrants 1 of wich doesn’t care or doesn’t know you shouldn’t walk through peoples camp Or hangout in there area so he would come walking between tents and use our area to make tik tok dances on the edge of our campsite so that was weird… if you grew up in that area and frequently went out 2 the Illys, deer creek swinging bridge and thought this would also be a beautiful part of the river .. it’s absolutely not it’s like a trailer park/tent camping area with some people living there permanently out of tents and trailers. I would give -5 stars if I could
