We had a great weekend at this park! The campsites were large and the campgrounds were open enough to let our kids ride bikes and have some independence without worrying where they were. Park Ranger Shannon was a huge part of making the weekend experience memorable. Between the s'more's night, assisting our kids in making custom walking sticks, and encouraging them to do the junior park ranger activities so before they left he could swear them in and pin them as Jr. Rangers. We will be back for sure. The lake was so peaceful for kayaking. A great quiet place to get away for a weekend.
