This was our second visit. We stay on the waterfront with no utilities. We were able to use our small inflatable boat from our site. We did not go into the restroom so I can't give a review on the cleanliness. Our Version hotspot worked great. There is a beach for campers. The lake level was low.
It was an absolute beautiful campground. It was the last stop on our month long, cross country, 5300 mile trip. It’s clean and easily accessible. My only “complaint” and it’s hardly worth mentioning was the site was quite uneven but I’m prepared for that so no issue.
Camp here often in summer. Only 2 complaints. The toilet at C loop is always awful. The bathhouses need cleaning better and need more electric hookups. Random primitive sites kinda suck when the ones next to them have electric.
Loved it here. Brought our canoe, floated and fished. Very beautiful. There were a lot of people in the area due to flooding at the other campsites but most people were quiet and respectful. Pit toilets have step flush capability. They were clean and stocked with toilet paper. There was a sink so that you can wash your camping dishes.
Took my dogs and my new/old RV on it's maiden voyage for 3 days mid-week and it was perfect. The attendants at the grounds were friendly and helpful, the campground was clean and quiet and nice, and other campers were kind; everything was serene. The RV hookups for electricity and water were great, and the gravel campsites all seemed level, and had good sturdy benches, fire pits and many with a big tree for shade. I used their shower facilities onsite and it was basic but clean and comfortable. We can't wait to come back! Thanks LB!
