Customer Reviews
Beautiful campground! Lots of level sites. Nice playgrounds. The lake is beautiful. My kids enjoyed fishing. Multiple other people were fishing also. Lots of hiking trails. Camp showers sucked!! 2 shower heads missing in the men's. Showers at the lake are beautiful. I would suggest going to them.
Laurel Hill State Park has a large campground. Of the 264 campsites, 149 have electric and 12 have full hookups. The campground has modern restrooms, warm showers, sanitary dumping stations, coin-operated laundry, and drinking water. Pets are permitted on designated sites for a fee. The campground opens in mid-April and closes the third Sunday in October. Site occupancy is limited to one family unit (persons living under one household) or five unrelated people, including one responsible individual 18 years of age or older. Eight cottages near the campground each sleep five people in either single bunks or double/single bunks, and have wooden floors, windows, electric heat, lights, outlets, screened porch, picnic table, and fire ring. Camping cottages do not have running water, but showers and restrooms are in the cottage area.
Nice campground with sites that have decent spacing. However our site (250) was extremely unlevel. The bathroom and showers were clean. The shower had good water pressure and hot water. Water pooled on the bathroom floor. There is no cell service for Verizon or AT&T. No potable water available to fill tank except next to dump station.
A pretty clean campground. Almost no cell service which made it nice.
Overall quiet except for the few campers that couldn't control their dogs. Lake was calm and walking trail was peaceful in September 2024
