Lavaland RV Park is primarily known for its easy access from I-40, making it a practical choice for those traveling through the area. According to customer reviews, the park offers level concrete pads, which are a significant plus. However, the proximity to the interstate also means that truck noise can be a significant issue. The park has acceptable bathroom facilities, though some improvements are needed, such as fixing the stall locks. Sites are described as narrow, and the dog run is small and considered relatively useless. The park appears to host a number of workers, which some visitors might find unsettling. Despite these drawbacks, the park does offer an on-site brewery, which is a unique and appreciated feature. The park honors the Good Sam discount, which is a positive aspect for members. Okay, I knew it was easy access from I-40, so I can’t really fault the park for that, but the trucks are loud. I’d much rather hear the train in the distance all night than the trucks. The bathrooms are acceptable, but please fix the locks on the stalls. Sites are very narrow, but the concrete pads are new and are they level! There seems to be a good deal of workers staying here, which kind of makes it a little sketchy (just a feeling, nothing happened but single women might want to know this). The dog run is tiny, in the back corner and pretty useless. It also appears that many persons believe that if their dog uses the edge of the camp road near the expressway that they don’t have to clean it up. Nasty folk do that-pick up after your dogs, people! Would I stay here again? I don’t know, with at least 5-6 other RV parks within 25 miles, I might try somewhere else. In regards to the Good Sam discount, we booked on line and it was honored. Also, we did get the discount off the advertised price.

Great little rv park for staying overnight while traveling. Has a brewery on site. Highly recommend tasting and grabbing a few beers to take back. 😋

Sites were nice, bathrooms/showers were very clean. They were very helpful when we checked in and overall really enjoyed our stay. They even had two small dog runs so our pups got to play a bit.

Price advertised online is not the price you will be charged !! The Good Sam discount advertised online is not honored !!! Online they advertise "free Wi-Fi throughout the park" DONT EXPECT THAT, IT DOESNT WORK. They advertise "free cable TV" that also DOESNT WORK. The water is TERRIBLE WITH TONS of PARTICULATES in it and thats after it goes through 2 water filters !!! Im sure we will be replacing every filter & faucet gasket in this camper before it's over....not to mention what it's doing to our water heater & ice maker !!!!! And unless the hum of 18 wheelers driving on the rumble strip is what you enjoy hearing as you sleep your in for a ruff nite as I-40 is about 150ft (at most) from our camper !!!!

Cable TV did no work. WIFI was very weak and slow. The first site had a full-time neighbor who had a hose leaking and spraying our site. The next site had a water leak at spigot. The person at the check-in desk, Ivan, was unable to solve WIFI and cable issues. He was very impolite. Lots of full-time residents. I plan on contacting Good Sam Club. It's definitely not a quality RV park.
