Lazy Daze Retreats

What a find! A lot of love has obviously gone into this place. I stayed in the Eagle's Nest and it was a perfect stay. The view of the river was beautiful. Turkeys were walking right by the cabin at all times of the day. The cabin was clean and decked out with all the amenities you would need for an extended stay. Art was exceedingly welcoming and kind. When I left an item behind he mailed it back to me. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Last Resort. Art and Nina were very hospitable and sweet. The area is so serene and beautiful with all the nature of wildlife and flowers surrounding us. I would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay with Lazy Daze. The Eagles Nest was perfect for our family! Big property, well maintained with access to the riverbank, a hammock and look-out on the edge of the yard to watch the river and wildlife. The cabin itself is far more supplied with amenities than I thought before getting there! A wonderful surprise. Lots of board games, reading material, AC, washer & dryer, big linen closet, etc! The cabin is fishing/hunting lodge theme which our kids loved. Plenty of beds & the master bedroom upstairs with the balcony.. perfect! Art is a very kind, personable being. He gave us lots of tips about fishing in the area, showed us a good spot down the way on his property & sure enough we caught a trout there! Before we arrived, he was great with details- it's evident that he truly wants his guests to have a great time! We are so happy we found this place and had the wonderful experience it gave us. Our kids can't wait to go back in the future!

This place is a gem! Quiet, peaceful, yet there is so much to do! It is within easy driving distance to Canada and the wonderful little towns just over the border. It is also close to several scenic drives and historic spots. We spent one day just at the resort. It is a bird watchers paradise!! Fishing on the Columbia River right on the property. The gardens are so beautiful, and full of butterflies and hummingbirds. There are places to just sit and reflect on the surrounding beauty. We loved grilling out with the amazing view of the river. The accommodations are comfortable. I have stayed at “The Last Resort” twice and love the cozy comfort of the suite. The main house provides beautiful bedrooms with views of the Columbia River. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable. They have made recommendations of places in the area and in Canada to visit. I have greatly enjoyed staying here!!

My wife and I stayed at the Last Resort the night before starting a one-week kayak trip down the river. This was the perfect piece of comfort living before a rough and dirty trip! The grounds are so carefully cared for and in such a peaceful setting. We both wished we had booked more time there before the trip. The proprietor, Art, was perfectly kind and helpful, giving us advice on where to launch our kayaks (right from the property) and even helping to arrange storage for our truck during our trip. We certainly hope to come back.
