Customer Reviews
We stayed in an RV and used one of their full hookup RV sites. There are some nice looking cabins on the property. The property is interesting with places to walk around as well as one can take longer hikes on the roads. It is a very lovely area. There are two campgrounds, one lower one which is used for the larger vehicles like class a but our favorite was up on top of the hill and as we have a smaller trailer, we were on top of the hill. Hill. It is lovely in the fall weather, level, and all of the hookups work well, electricity, water, sewage. Recommended and there's not many places to stay around Charleston. It is about a 30-minute drive to Charleston but easy on the highway.
Fantastic place to stay when you’re in West Virginia near the capital of Charleston. Ted the owner is an all around great guy, we stayed here a month and enjoyed every moment while at the Lazy K campground. It is quiet and secluded, very well maintained. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more peaceful campground to stay at! Thanks Ted!
We had a nice stay at Lazy K campground. Ted went above and beyond to help us out last night!! Great customer service!! Very pretty campground!!
Very nice facility that's tucked away. It's extremely quiet which is exactly what we were hoping for. Everything you need is near by if you're staying long-term like we are. The rates are also very competitive. We would stay here again if without question. Family of 4 that'll be here for 3 months while on contract at the hospital. About 3 weeks in and it's been very relaxing.
We camped at this campground. I think they have some cabins also. The location is about 20 minutes North from Hwy 64. They have very good directions on their website. There is a sign when you drive up that states to call the posted number. The owner gets your rig info, and makes a designation of which site you'll use. I had made a reservation before hand, so he had the credit card info. and said it would be charged when we arrived. It is super quiet, barring a couple of dogs barking while we took a walk after dinner. Only negative is the sewer hook up had a large-ish poopsie. It would've been nice to have been cleaned up.
