★★ Not What We Expected at Leaf Verde RV Resort We recently stayed at Leaf Verde RV Resort and left feeling disappointed. The entirely unpaved grounds were dusty and dirty, making it difficult to keep our RV and outdoor space clean. The cramped layout means you're practically on top of your neighbors, with barely enough space to extend your awning without touching the next rig. Dog owners beware - there are very limited designated areas for walking pets, and what exists isn't well-maintained. The park appears to cater primarily to long-term residents, which gives it more of a permanent mobile home park feel rather than a welcoming resort atmosphere for travelers. While the location might be convenient for some, the cramped spaces, dusty conditions, and limited amenities make it hard to recommend. There are better options in the area for short-term RV stays.

The people who own the campground regularly favor certain guests. This leads to conflicts and "favored guests" who are allowed to do anything that they want to. They do whatever they want, and all of the other guests are left to fend for themselves. Their power supply is not adequate for the number of campers and trailer homes that are in this park. There are frequent power outages because of this complete oversight. The laundry facilities are out of date, and the campground frequently does not have adequate water pressure. The wifi is also trash.

We booked this camping location because it advertised a swimming pool and free WiFi. Pool was closed indefinitely for maintenance. WiFi is so bad that it’s unusable. Only 1-bar of cell signal at site so work calls are barely possible. Mostly permanent “campers.” Expect lots of hard workers leaving for work at 4-5am in diesel trucks. Zero nature here whatsoever. Camp site is so skinny that our pop-out is 6” from neighbor’s permanent encampment.

Quick overnight stay. We had a pull through, which was good because we didn't want to disconnect. The office staff was extremely nice and welcoming. We paid around $65, definitely over priced for the site. We were right on top of each other. Literally touching another camper's shade when trying to connect. They have a nice lounge, laundry, and pool. This campground is filled with full timers.

I stayed here because they were part of Sun Outdoors and the one I visited in Texas was amazing. Well this place was awful. I came in for business and pleasure. Right after I came in I ended up hospitalized with an illness. When I got out of the hospital the power went out on the rig. Nothing was running accept the microwave and the A/C was on it’s lowest setting. Meaning no thermostat, you just have high, medium or low. So almost no draw on power. My $100 surge protector has literally melted and took the end of my plug and the outlet. Couldn’t find help or reach anyone. So I decided I would stay with a friend nearby. I came back a couple days later and the office was closed again but I found a maintenance person. They looked at it. It was pretty evident there was a problem with pedestal. Now I could have fought to move and this was later offered. But I’m handicapped and that’s a lot of work when you are in terrible pain. So I asked if it could be repaired. I was told they would call the manager and get an electrician out by the following Tuesday. Fine. Well no repair and never got a call. Finally I got ahold of their office manager. She literally laughed. Said that the General Manager was away on vacation and therefore no electrician. She finally offered to move me. At that point I was really frustrated and having just gotten out of the hospital I was in no condition to pack it up, move it and unpack it. Needless to say I paid for a month and never really stayed there. Would never go back again. The repairs on my RV cost about $130 plus labor for an electrician who stated they had a low voltage issue. I just saw their response. That was a complete lie. They did NOT make any effort to contact me. I was calling them and only one got through. Also tried to talk to them at the office and found them open once well. Note to the owner: She is lying to you or you are trying to gaslight me. This was the WORST experience I ever had while traveling and your response is insulting. Frankly now if k could give zero stars I would.
