Customer Reviews
Absolutely incredible customer service! My husband and I just purchased a RV and our very stop (ever) was at this KOA. Huge shout out to Chris who was so helpful and kind, and made us feel so welcome. We had a small leak in our tire overnight causing us to get a flat - we had to stay another night to wait until the tire store opened the following day. When I went to the office to explain what happened and book another night, the manager overhead and gave us a free night. 🥹 It was a completely unexpected act of kindness and generosity. On top of all that, the facilities were pristinely cared for and clean, with several amenities including hot showers and a dog park. 1000% recommended. We will be back!
This campground has been in our memories as a family since I was a teenager. Now we bring our own kids and they have grown up here, also. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The campsites are clean. The campers are super friendly and fun. Just a great family place!
We stayed in a cabin that slept 6 and it was just 3 of us, we had ample room and there was heat!!! I was so excited to see wall heaters and there was an AC unit. Check in and checkout was a breeze and the gal that checked us in was very lovely and VERY helpful. I already wanted to book our next stay as we were leaving the parking lot to head back home! 1000/10
We recently stayed here for the first time, at a KOA for the first time too! Our initial impressions were positive; the amenities were great, and the young woman who checked us in was friendly. However, a few issues marred our stay. **Positive Aspects:** - The river and surrounding areas were beautiful, we enjoyed our time at the river the most! - The pool was well-maintained and not too crowded. Ideal if you have younger children. - The coffee stand employee was friendly and provided excellent service. - The location is convenient, with easy access to town and plenty of parking. More of a vacation for us than camping. It was the least crowded time I’ve been to Leavenworth and so much yummy food! -The music with Chris Ward was a great time on our last evening. **Negative Aspects:** - Our fire pit was less than 6 feet away from the site next to ours, where there wasn’t even room to put three chairs around it without them touching. We asked an employee who delivered us firewood if we could move the ring to the other side of the gravel that faced the river and had no neighboring site. He said, "oh yeah, no problem, it just lifts right up." So, we did. The next morning, an employee in a truck came flying up and started yelling at me that we could not move the fire pit. I told him we had asked and got the okay, but I apologized still. Then, someone in a golf cart pulled up, and I felt like I was being raided by the cops or something. He came into our site and grabbed the pit, moving the logs and everything very aggressively while my partner was still asleep in the tent. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. My partner was upset and sent a message saying he didn’t appreciate how the guy treated me, especially since it was their fault for their employee telling us we could move it. Their response was simply quoting the rule book and saying it’s a $100 fine for moving the fire ring, with no apology for the rudeness or misunderstanding of their employee telling us we could. - Another incident involved a rude response from an older woman in the office to a camper who arrived slightly early. He was not allowed to park in the empty parking lot (I mean it was completely empty but employee cars) for a short while to wait for his check in, instead was told he would have to leave the grounds, which seemed unnecessarily harsh given the circumstances. While the campground has some nice features, the negative experiences with staff and poor customer service have left us reluctant to return. If we return we’d probably check out another campground or local hotel. The photo of the fire going is where we moved the pit to, on the other side of our site where it made more sense and was plenty safe. The other photo shows how close it was to our neighbors originally.
Great place and peaceful. There is a amazing trial that leads down to the river which is super private and great! The pool is a great size, but the jacuzzi is super small and only fits 3 ppl. Site was goos, but wasn't the best KOA site we have been too. They do have a field that is great for playing games, and a great set of activities daily for kids. We liked staying at the RV sites in Chelan a lot more. We enjoyed our stay, but wont be returning just because of the options out there and we love the experience at the Enzian Inn with kids more than trailer trip with kids here
