Customer Reviews
Can you ski or snowboard near Las Vegas? Yes, you can! The Lee Canyon Ski Resort is around 50 miles from the Strip. My son and I planned a snowboarding outing while we were vacationing in Vegas. The lift tickets were expensive as we went on a weekend right after New Years Day. There was a big crowd but the resort was big enough where it didn't seem overcrowded. The check-in and equipment rental process took longer than we anticipated but we got our gear and were ready to hit the slopes. It was our first time so we got a quick lesson on the basics and went over to the bunny slopes. The lift was cool and the slopes was adequate for beginners. We didn't go up any further than that bit there was a restaurant up the mountain. We had a great experience snowboarding and we will definitely try it again either here or another resort in the future.
Nice place. Must be even more beautiful during winter. The scenic ride is good but once you reach the top it will go back down since there's nothing at the top and i paid 29$ for it however price changes depending on what date of the week. There was a music show as well when i visited. Overall it's a nice place to hang around with friends and stuff , it has a bicycle trail too so you can bring your offroad bicycle here. The souvenir shop is pretty small though.
We appreciate the unique experience of skiing in the desert and have always enjoyed the mountain. However, our attempts to book private lessons have been frustrating: Initial Attempt: We were unaware of the necessity to book in advance and tried to schedule lessons two nights prior, only to find they were fully booked. Subsequent Attempts: On two other occasions, we reached out via email and phone repeatedly over seven consecutive days without receiving any response. The lack of communication is concerning. We never managed to speak with anyone directly, which is disappointing. We intended to book six days of private lessons over three different weekends, each priced at approximately $360. It seems there's a missed opportunity here. We recommend that management review their current booking and communication processes to enhance customer experience. Only way to book was via the website but for some reason the website didn't allow to book even though the slots were open
Lee Canyon is such a great escape from Vegas! It’s just an hour away, and you’re suddenly in a completely different world with snow and mountains. The slopes are fun and perfect for a quick day trip, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. The staff was super nice and if needed, renting gear was easy and hassle-free. The lodge is cozy, and grabbing a bite after a few runs just hits the spot. It’s not a huge resort, but for how close it is, it’s absolutely worth it!
First time at Lee Canyon. With more snow i could see the possibilities. The lodge/restaurant/bar were stunningly renovate and I was impressed. Lift lines were under a minute or no time. The surrounding terrain off trail looks like a blast if some real powder drops. Def be back. A lot.
