This was the second year we camped here. 2023 we were here for two weeks. Great stay. August 30 2024 we decided to stay longer on the holiday weekend. We only had our campsite at Obey until the 30th. These owners were so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us yet again with our 36 ft fifth wheel and our friends from AZ in their 45 foot RV. They made it work for us. We were able to enjoy a few more days at the lake because of them. Would definitely recommend Legends on Wolf River. Great people! Thank you again!

This place and its owners are absolutely amazing! I cannot attest as to the camping as we are in fact locals and neighbors but we love the great selection of fishing gear at the store. If you are looking to camp it’s just a short walk to the river and an even shorter walk to the creek. I have gotten to know the owners over the last year and they are good and honest people to work with. The shop is well worth a visit while visiting DHL and if you need a place to camp they’ll treat you right.

Love that this is local family owned. BUT lost 1 star for lack of a bath house... so if you're not full self contained, bring baby wipes & ahead lamp for the port-a-jons. 2nd lost star : whoever planned their site & dump station layout needs to do more camping. It would be difficult at best to dump positioned here, because the location of dump site is in a sharp corner at the top of the hill. Leaves my vehicle going down a hill in a curve (a hill that required 4WD to climb) while dumping. Most everyone in our group chose to dump elsewhere, especially those with bigger rigs.

We were there from the July 4th- 7th. The owners were so nice and answered all our questions! When we had trouble with our air conditioning in our RV they let us use one of their ladders to get on top of the RV. Bigger camp grounds you just don't have that kind of hospitality. The place was clean and our boys enjoyed riding their bikes around and swimming in the swimming hole! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
