Had plenty of tent camping spots when I went the weekend before Memorial Day. They have hiking trails and a reservoir to fish in. Dog are allowed as long as you have a way to keep them near you. Has a lot of foot traffic on the main road.

Been going here since I was a baby and I've loved it every time everyone is friendly and it's taken care of well. Some people leave trash but that's a given. Full hookups and spaces you don't have to hook up. Bathroom building and porta potty. Also a lake to fish in, tons of hiking and a little park.

We really liked the campground. It's clean and well maintained. They have some sites with full RV hookups and some with just electrical. The two downsides were that the water is not potable and the sites are all next to each other so close quarters with not a lot of privacy. There were only a few people when we were there but I imagine it'll get more crowded as it gets warmer.

It would be nice to see some maintenance done up there once and a while. There are lots of picnic tables which most are broke or need replacement. The weeds are overgrown all around the tables. Overall though it was a nice place to let the kids play and bbq! The river runs right by the park. There is one porta potty up there too. Just nice to get in the mountains!

Avoid camping here its filthy & trashy. Went there on a Tuesday and thought cool, not very many people here mid-week. Now I know why. Won't make that mistake again. Should have went home after a camp chair was stolen while we went to town but we stayed the night anyway. Flies galore, I'll get to the reason in a minute. Our campsite was littered with children's board game pieces and toilet paper wads. The campsite next to us had rotting meat left on the grill from past visitors, did I mention flies? The next morning I took a little walk along they dry creek bed behind our site and discovered several piles of human feces accompanied by more toilet paper wads. Apparently people who camp here are OK with openly going #2 in the creek bed and leaving it. NASTY! Well now I know the source of all the flies (besides the rotting meat). Too bad because its really close to town and reasonably priced. This place suffers from not having a camp host on site and not being maintained with too few restrooms. Also they lock the entrance gate at night so your trapped in unless you leave a vehicle outside. Do yourself a favor and camp somewhere else.
