Lei-Ti Recreation Resort

By far one of the nicest places we have camped. Extremely clean, well maintained and always some fun activities going on. My 6 year old son came home the first weekend he camped there and told me about " Big Bad John ". Since he was little I have always played the song Big Bad John when we are driving, he loves that song and when he first met John that is what he compared him to because he is so tall. He took a liking to the owners John & Shelia very quickly, always excited to go to the store to show them how he learned to ride his bike or to show them a new remote control car he received. Every time John & Shelia would come out and watch. The whole family are genuinely very nice people, very personable, polite, always waving or saying hi. Shelia definitely has a green thumb , she keeps the landscape looking beautiful. So, if you are looking for a seasonal site or just for the weekend, you can't go wrong at Lei Ti. My aunt and there friends own a couple of sites here. They experience is very good. The owners are really nice and i'm very understanding. I love the pond layout And the park.

Third year at lei-ti Batavia and we absolutely love it. It’s not just a camp it’s a family. Owners are amazing and the grounds are immaculate. Never thought we’d find a place we love this much, so much to do and it’s all done so well.

Le ti is a very nice campground and well kept. We came for 1 year and then pulled our camper out due to unforeseen circumstances.. Some people there are very nice, and then you get the "regulars" who have been there for years, some aren't very nice or polite to the newbies and you can tell they don't like the kids running around and having fun.. my son had a ball with the kids, but was always getting into trouble or getting blamed by the "regulars" for something.. it was almost like they were threatened by him, and he's 7.. John told my husband that the new person who took over our campsite was going to give us a few hundred dollars for the deck my husband built and left there, but we haven't seen the money yet.. there are way too many rules and campers aren't able to enjoy themselves completely, as they are being watched constantly.. it's a shame, but we are better off camping someplace else where our family is happy and welcomed. Camped at lei ti for almost 17 years, great people run the place, had some up and downs,but who doesn't, overall a great place,if I where to ever camp again I would go back, thank you John and Sheila for being our host and thanks to all the awesome campers.
