Guests have highlighted the park's quiet location and scenic views as positive aspects. However, concerns have been raised about customer service, the condition of the facilities, and the lack of amenities. The cold showers, poor WiFi, and ungraded roads are significant drawbacks for many visitors. The no-pets policy and the issue of dog waste also detract from the overall experience.

Leisure Mountain RV Park. On-line reservation is through a form on their website, you wait for an email reply to confirm your reservation. In my case it took about 24 hours. Check-in was easy, but the gal at the desk was chatting with someone on the phone the whole time. My main complaint is this: when you are waiting on a customer, pay attention to them and not someone on the phone. Customer service is important. The building has bathrooms with showers, also there is a laundry room that we did not use so I don’t know their condition. The restrooms/shower rooms are not heated at this time, expect COLD in those. The showers are a little rough or rustic as you can imagine they are at an RV park. There is a sign that advises the user to keep the area clean and neat as these are a courtesy, not a requirement. There was also a sign advising that PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED. One other thing I note, the toilets are very short, the shortest I’ve seen, and the seats were loose to boot. Weekly rate was a little over 230 bucks. There are full hook-ups, sewer, electrical and water. They advertise WIFI, but it never showed up on any of my devices. Luckily, we carry a WIFI device with us or we would have had no internet. No picnic tables. We were all the way at the back of the park at the top of the hill, the sewer has a vent near the spot we were assigned and it wafts a miasma about the area that is unmistakably foul, which was a irritation. The roads need grading, the rain causes ruts, meaning the road is rough. There are many long-term residents here, some with dogs that are walked without a leash. I noted several piles of dog poop that had been left for someone else to pick up. I carry poop bags with me so I picked up after my dog, as well as someone else’s dog too. After spending a week here, I concluded that next time through the area I’ll look for an alternate RV park.
Beautiful, quiet, and close enough to town. A great place to park your house on wheels while you take a couple days to explore. While we were here (mid july) temps were mid-high 50's in the morning and near 90 in the afternoon, but 30 something % humidity and a light breeze made it near ideal for us. We were able to sit outside and enjoy listening to the birds and not fighting bugs.
Lots of long term full timers here. Laundry looks ok but haven't tried it. Showers unknown. Not a good recreational park but is decent place to be while checking. Quiet park, power water and sewer hookups adequate and easy accessibility.
This was one of the worst experiences I've had in my travel trailer. The manager was dismissive and basically unavailable when I arrived. The sewer dump froze the second night. There was no sense of urgency to fix it or move me to another spot. My neighbor camper told me the same thing had happened to him when he first arrived. I paid full price for full hookup and was unable to use the hookup for 3 out of 4 days/nights. No refund or adjustment was given or offered. I would not recommend this park
Second time I've stayed here while working in Albuquerque. Short distance to the city, yet in the cool clean air of the mountain. Nice park and very accommodating, friendly staff - Sherry is super. This is my go-to place any time I'm working in Albuquerque.
