I gave the rooms 3 stars because we actually didn’t stay in them (stayed in travel trailer). Stayed for a week and had no issues, full hookup. Campsite was well maintained and the facilities were great. Pretty area with some nice walks.

First off this is a Thousand Trails Resort. It was great had lots of amenities and some updates that had been done recently. Pool was closed entire time we were there, from what we were told someone had vandalized the pool which kept it closed. Laundromat has card reader for machines but you do need 75 cents for soap or bring you own (O think they have some for sale in their store too) we enjoyed it and had a great time just wish we had gotten to use the pool.

Just visited for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The lake was beautiful with lots of fishing, the sites were just right, and the store, laundry, and other amenities were more than adequate. Severe damage due to kids vandalism had a couple things closed down, but I do not blame the facility for that ( I blame parents who do not teach their children how to treat others' property). The staff were more than welcoming and friendly. Don't focus too much on negative nellies. It's a campground, not a big city Hilton. I will definitely be going back.

Grass needs to be cut. Other than that, this a very nice campground. The A frame store has what you need. We pulled in and right away and right in front of me. A pull thru with full hook up and 50 amp service. Does not get much better then that. The drive up to the campground the view was absolutely breathe taking. If nothing else, the drive up is worth it. Happy Trails!!

Thousand trails owner, Encore, has allowed this once gorgeous camp ground to run down and become absolutely horrendous. They refuse to make much needed upgrades to any of the buildings. Their guard shack at the gate is the same one that has been there over 40 years. The walls are rotten, the ceiling is caving in and the outside walls have cracks big enough to stick a pencil eraser in. Last year their water pipes kept breaking. Every other week they were having to shut off the water to some, if not all, the park and refused to pay an actual plumber to do the job. The poor manager had to do it. Employees were quitting left and right because they were forced to do things they shouldn't have been responsible for. They went over a month without a maintenance guy and when they finally got one, the only one willing to do the job was a 16 year old kid. The family center building is so rickety that someone closed the door to hard and a window fell out and broke. Months later they still never replaced the window allowing people to just wander right in after hours and steal things. Trash everywhere, blackberry bushes over the roads by the ponds, some of which I cut down myself. Even the pond was full of trash. This park used to be a gorgeous 5* campground, now it doesn't even rate a 1*, unfortunately I only have the option to rate it at 1.
