Customer Reviews
Holiday Lake KOA, was great. The owners are hands down awesome. Really helped me out with my puppy situation. Nice cabins. We slept 8 at the cabin o. The water and thus was our view. Rented a pontoon and had the absolute best day fishing for trout. We caught our limits!!
Love Lemolo Lake KOA! Such beautiful and spacious RV camp sites under the trees and stars. The lake is gorgeous. Has swimming as well as can rent paddle boats, kayaks or boats to fish. Has cabin rentals which would be great for family reunions, small store and laundry. Staff was attentive and friendly. Owners Jim & Anita are the best!
First time at this KOA, saw some poor reviews from previous management and I must say that I will definitely come back! This is not a good reflection of the current Management group. RV sites are large and well maintained, not a lot of privacy between sites, but that’s to be expected in this region. We have a 25ft RV Trailer and got in and out with no issues…saw some monster trailers that had to use some spotters to get situated, but still manageable… The staff here were very friendly and helpful, I can’t say how refreshing this is in this day and age! All generations are represented here and I was always met with a wave, smiling face, or “How can I Help?” The Lake was fun, smaller than neighboring Diamond Lake, We limited out on Rainbow Trout, didn’t catch any of the coveted Browns, but still had a blast! Also did some kayaking and it’s an easy in/out… I highly recommend this KOA for families, very friendly, lots of activities at the resort as well as a short drive from here…has an exercise area for our doggo’s and looks like the Playground for kiddos is getting some additions. Pizza and Ice delivery to our site was a luxury we were not expecting! Will definitely book again! Note: Pics are of local waterfalls areas, not the KOA Resort. Wife has all of those pics!
This is a wonderful place to unwind and get back to nature. I was so sorry we were only passing through and could only stay one day. There are hiking and biking trails right here at the campground and a beautiful crystal clear lake. Many waterfalls are nearby. You can rent all kinds of boats if you didn't bring your own. The laundry room is great. The best part is the owners. The folks here are just about the most pleasant, friendly, helpful folks you will ever find. RV sites are clean and very spacious.
Anita and Jim were so hospitable and kind. They always gave us a heads up if anything was being fixed or done around the camp, and they even gave a last call text for the store closing, in case we wanted something in the last hour. The store has a bunch of things that you may forget to pack. They will also be opening a cafe/food spot soon! The small camping cabin was clean and brand new, heater and power included. One full bed and two bunk beds. Beautiful place to stay, 35 min from the north entrance of crater lake (open in summer). The south entrance of crater lake is a bit further, about 1 hour 20 min from camp. Unless it’s the summer season (mid-July to mid-October), the majority of the rim is closed (except for south entrance). There are also 4 beautiful waterfalls to see, very close to camp. In distance order, there’s Whitehorse Falls, Clearwater Falls, Watson Falls and (best for last) Toketee Falls. The first two are right next to the parking lots, the last two are both about 15 min hikes, straight uphill for a while. Toketee has lots of stairs, but is well worth the effort! It was too cold for us to enjoy Lemolo Lake, but it’s beautiful. The surrounding forest is really nice to walk through in the day! Thank you, Lemolo Lake KOA team!
