We walked around the beach and climb the rocks. If you plan to visit several State park during a day, you can buy day pass 12$ to avoid any parking hassles. Highly recommended.
Great place, it has improved over the years. Our first time here was back in 1979 and we keep coming back. Very friendly park staff. Campground was clean and very quiet. Hot showers, 2 minutes per token, 2 tokens per dollar.
Very nice state park. Beaches were great for what we wanted, which was a bit of lounging and rock hounding. I would not recommend swimming. We spent time at both the dog beach and non dog beach. Seems like the pups had a blast. Very fun to watch.
