Nice park with two visitors centers and lots to see. The displays in the visitors center are really helpful for understanding the caverns formation. They have some samples of stalactites that you can touch, too. Greer Gulch trail from the upper picnic area is quite nice and there’s great views. There is a historic out as at the start of this trail with a good interpretive sign. The Rangers are really helpful.

Short car ride through, with elevation gaining quickly! We scheduled a tour of the caverns and then decided to use our downtime before to hike the trails. It was midday and hot: probably over 100. The trails were well kept up and the signs easy to navigate with distance included. Make sure to bring water and if you have time: a trip to see the mines. They are barred off to keep people out, but allow bats access, but you can still see in with a good flashlight. Beautiful scenery, but good hiking shoes a must and the physical ability to hike steep grade.

Amazing cave! Great steps, handrails, lighting, great tour guide. The hardest part was getting to the cave. It's a steady uphill climb for a half mile. There are places to pull over and rest. Once there, the cave steps were mostly downhill. We took the Classic tour. There was a less strenuous hike called the Paridise tour. That doesn't have the steady seep incline to get to the cave but you only see two rooms. Loved it and highly recommend it!

Great place to visit. This location is up the mountain. Stop by the visitors center and get a good schedule of the tours and the types of tours. There is a souvenir shop there and a very friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend this location. Please don't bring small children here they may not like the darkness and may become disruptive. Overall this was a very cool and interesting trip to the caverns. Just seeing the formations was amazing and our tour guide she was awesome.

Beautiful campgrounds with electric hookups at the site. Portable water is available near the dump stations. Clean restrooms. Don't miss out on the cavern tours.
