Promotional Information:

Lewis Lake Campground With Boat Launch in Yellowstone National Park offers primitive camping with lake access. Ideal for overnight stays, it provides basic amenities like tent pads, bear boxes, and fire rings, but lacks hookups and showers. Great option for an overnighter. Some sites are tighter than others (we had to relocate to another site as our RV was pretty much parked up on the road on a blind corner) but this was achieved with minimal fuss. All sites appeared to have tent pads, bear-proof food boxes, fire rings etc and all are within easy reach of camp toilets (toilets only - no showers). Bins are available for rubbish on the way out but that’s about the extent of the facilities. At a fraction of the cost of every other currently operating RV park within 50 miles of Yellowstone, I’d definitely stay again! It is what you’d expect of a primitive camping site. Our rv is 22ft and we had no problems. There are no hook ups, no generator use, no dump station or water fill up. There are latrines. The nearest showers/laundry/food is about ten minutes away. The site itself was great, it had a picnic table, fire ring, and bear proof storage bin. Very walkable from the sites to the lake. The campground was well maintained and quiet. We would stay here again.

Tried to reserve a camping site. Called 3 different numbers to get clarification on wether the tent sites could be used for car camping. No real person to talk to. Waited over 2 hours for the chat so I could answer my question - chat kept timing my session out despite the length of the session was me WAITING for them to respond. Literally just had a simple question. Won't be booking here bc I can't get my single question answered.

It’s a very “hilly” campground so you will sleep diagonally no matter what Each campsite is super close to each other Vault toilets only no running water Price was $25 October 2024 It is near by the river so there were a lot of bugs too
