Great campground in Killbear Provincial Park! We came for a week to enjoy the trails and take in the area, and this was a perfect spot to spend our evenings unwinding after a day of hiking and exploring. Campsites were pretty spacious (we fit 2 tents, one that was considerably larger than the other, plus vehicles on our site with lots of room to rearrange the picnic tables and set up chairs by the firepit). The campground prohibits radios, so the site was fairly quiet, especially later in the evenings. There are a couple of smaller washrooms located on each side of the campground, with a central comfort station containing washrooms, showers, and a laundry area, so there's plenty of washroom access. There were also a handful of water taps (which are marked on the campground map inside the park guide), meaning you're never too far from a water source. Busier times would definitely be the weekends, but there are a lot fewer people in on weekdays, which meant a lot of our stay was much less crowded. Watch out at night for raccoons and other wildlife, as you'll hear them passing through sites at night. Park is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend it!

Our campsite is 1117 which is located next to the lake. This location offers us a private access to the lake. Although it is not the sandy beach at this site but if you wear sandals or slipper when swimming, it is not a big problem. you can avoid crowds and noise when swimming here. At night, you could sit next to the lake seeing stars and lights at the other side of lake. There is no sign of mosquitoes. The comfort station is located at the middle of campground.

Nice location but the campgrounds are right next to one another. No privacy whatsoever. Also no shower nearby in case you're wondering. Also, if you want to see the sunset remember this one is not facing west. Nice sandy beach and the water is pretty warm.

This campground is a part of Killbear Provincial Park. Very spacious campground site. Clean toilets, proper commode toilet seats with flushes. There is a beach area next to most of the campground sites. Beach was clean, water was clear and clean too. Beautiful trails around! There is an amphitheatre inside the park where daily some programs happen during summers. We also spotted multiple deers in the park. All in all a good camping experience. We will definitely come next time to this place!

Perfect spot to explore Parry Sound. Granite Saddle has more private camping spots. Water supply is irregular, so pack your own drinking water.
